Atlas Disposal getting it done for Avalon Grand Opening

Avalon’s grand opening is slated for October 30th.  The scramble is on to complete construction and clean up in the process.  Atlas is a big part of both as there is no progress without debris being generated and that debris needs to be disposed.  Kenny, one of our longest tenured drivers is hauling dumpsters today […]

Limited routes

We are continuing to service dumpster customers that have stops south of the Roswell/Woodstock lines extending east and west on into metro Atlanta as there are clear roads.  North of that line it gets a little hairy and we are without the Bartow County Landfill as a disposal option due to it closing.  We are […]

Ellenwood demolition hauling

We are hauling demolition debris for our good friends at Charles Pruitt Enterprises today and tomorrow in Ellenwood.  We put three trucks on his job and should finish midday Friday for them.  A nice job with a quick turn around for both of us.  We thank them for the business.

The New Cans Are Here! The New Cans Are Here!

First shipment of brand new dumpsters have arrived!  This is the best they will ever look.  Chris has them off the flat bed, entered into inventory and I think a couple are already spoken for by customers.  We received 4 20s and 2 30s in this shipment.  We are very excited.

New dumpster production is progressing nicely

We mentioned back in May that we were purchasing some new 20 yard and 30 yard dumpsters.  I’ve attached two photos, one of a 20 yard dumpster still in production and the second one of a primed 30 yard dumpster waiting for its application of “Atlas Blue” paint.  We are very excited and can’t wait […]

Monopolies still exist

I had a very painful conversation with the City of Riverdale today.  We are proposing to perform a demolition job with our own equipment; excavator, roll-off dumpsters and trailers to haul the trash.  I downloaded the demolition permit from the City’s web site only to find they have an exclusive disposal arrangement (monopoly) with Republic […]

Abatement job for Kadima Inc.

As luck would have it an asbestos abatement job involving one of our 30 yard dumpsters is happening just outside my neighborhood.  It is a sure sign of a pending demolition project when the windows are all sealed up and a dumpster arrives in the driveway.  This abatement and demolition is the beginning of a […]

New dumpsters on the way!

We are doing something we haven’t done in 7 years – buying NEW dumpsters aka roll-off containers.  For the past four years we have bought only used dumpsters from companies that had already gone out or were rapidly on their way out of business.  We are buying eight (8) 30 yard roll offs and four […]

New Website

Welcome to our new website!  We needed to get with the times and provide a web site that was viewable and actionable via computers, smart phones and tablets plus we needed to add a store for online rental of dumpsters.  I had bought the module to install a storefront on our existing web site but […]
