16 yard container will save you 8 trips to the landfill
20 yard container will save you 10 trips to the landfill
30 yard container will save you 15 trips to the landfill
Dimensions:
16 yard – 16- x 7.5 x 4.5
20 yard – 20 x 8 x 4.5
30 yard – 22 x 8 x 6
Another point of reference is a standard parking space, which measures 20 long x 9 feet wide. That is the rough area a container will occupy. Atlas 20 yard and 30 yard dumpsters are two feet longer than a parking space but visualizing it should give you a better idea of sizing. These are estimations as not all dumpsters are made exactly the same.
